On Saturday the 21st of August 2021, the Monitor Net Control room received a call and was informed about an armed robbery in progress in the area of Rooihuiskraal.
After a swift response from our Tactical units, officers managed to intercept the suspects and an action-filled pursuit followed.
The suspects, however, lost control of their vehicle and the two perpetrators were arrested.
Two firearms and thirteen cellphones were recovered from the scene and the suspects were handed to members of SAPS Wierdabrug for the purpose of further investigation and detention.
