Monitor Net response units were alerted of a possible house robbery in progress in Midrand estate.

Upon arrival suspect fled in their vehicle trying evade arrest.
The suspects were blocked at the estate gate but tried to flee on foot.

After a quick pursuit on foot all four suspects were apprehended. One suspect was in possession of an unlicensed firearm.

SAPS searched the suspects vehicle and recovered stolen goods taken from the house as well as break-in equipment.

Suspects will be charged and further investigations will be conducted.
