In the early hours of yesterday morning, security companies assisted each other by apprehending a suspected house burglar in the Wierdapark area.
A swift response led to a arrest of one suspect but his accomplice managed to escape.
The suspect was handed over to Wierdabrug SAPS for further investigation.
