Monitor Net License Plate Recognition Camera reaped success

Yesterday the Monitor Net License Plate Recognition Camera reaped success by placing three suspects behind bars and two vehicles seized by SAPS.

One suspect has been arrested in possession of a stolen vehicle and suspected narcotics. The other two suspects were also arrested after a high speed chase by driving recklessly and ramming into a Monitor Net vehicle after attempting to stop the vehicle.

Multiple security companies and SAPS continued to chase the suspects’ vehicle until they eventually manage to stop and arrest the men in Raslouw area. The vehicle driven by these men was high-jacked last year and they were in possession of multiple car break-in tools which were seized by SAPS.
