During a routine patrol in the Valhalla area, a Monitor Net Response officer came upon a robbery in progress.
Perpetrators were busy robbing a Courier company van, and the Response officer immediately assisted the driver of the vehicle who, at that stage was busy defending himself and keeping his cargo safe by fighting off the robbers.
Unfortunately, two suspects fled the scene, but one suspect was arrested and a knife and firearm were seized.
The Courier company suffered no losses and the driver of the vehicle is unharmed.
A huge salute to the driver of the Courier vehicle as well as the Monitor Net Response officer.
