During the early hours of this morning, a Security officer on patrol in the Raslouw area was attacked by two suspects that were detected by her while attempting to break into a premises.
The Monitor Net Control Center was informed and Response officers swiftly reacted to the scene. Two suspects were arrested and handed to the Wierdabrug Police officials for detention and further investigation.
The tools used to perform the attempted break-in, were still in their possession when the arrests occurred.
The Guarding service provider, the Community’s quick reporting of the incident, and the rapid response from the Armed response units lead to these arrests and we hope that the Police will link these perpetrators to other incidents in the Raslouw area.
