Yesterday, members successfully detained two suspects in the Sunnyside area for armed robbery.
Following reports of an armed robbery in the Pretoria area, members obtained surveillance footage and launched an investigation.
The suspect vehicle was identified, and an observation operation was conducted.
When the suspect vehicle began moving, a tactical operational plan was executed, resulting in the successful detention of the suspects.
Law enforcement officers assisted at the scene, where two firearms were recovered from the vehicle, along with various items linked to the case.
The South African Police Service (SAPS) processed the scene, and further investigations will be conducted.
