Yesterday, members of the Centurion security cluster successfully apprehended three suspects linked to vehicle theft incidents in and around the Pretoria area.
Through the analysis of intelligence gathered from previous cases, the team was able to track down and intercept the suspects in the Zwartkop area.
The vehicle in question was found to have been hijacked in February 2025. Upon inspection, officers discovered various tools commonly used in vehicle break-ins. The vehicle was also fitted with false number plates, with additional false plates found inside.
The suspects were detained at Lyttelton SAPS for further investigation.
