At Monitor Net, keeping our community safe goes far beyond rapid response—it starts with empowering and educating our youngest residents. We recently had the absolute privilege of participating in a very special emergency services demonstration day for the Grade R and Grade RR learners at Wierie Woekerland!
Our team member, JP, joined forces with fantastic partners from the Police, CERT Medical Support, ER24, and Wildlife K to give the kids an unforgettable, hands-on learning experience. Step by step, we walked the young learners through what happens during an emergency and demonstrated how emergency response personnel take action to keep everyone safe. Following the presentation, the children got an up-close look at our response vehicles and equipment through a carefully planned, interactive demonstration.
It was a truly valuable and exciting day spent showing these future leaders that emergency responders are friendly, approachable, and always here to help. Teaching children about safety in a fun, engaging environment builds confidence that lasts a lifetime—because learning today prepares them to be strong, responsible members of our community tomorrow.
