On May 21st, two suspects were arrested in connection with cellphone theft and impersonating a police officer. Following the circulation of a lookout notice, members mobilised swiftly in and around the Pretoria area.
The suspects were spotted near Menlyn, and a rapid action plan was executed, leading to their successful apprehension. Upon realising they were being followed, the suspects attempted to evade arrest. However, due to the vigilance and quick response of the members involved, they were swiftly intercepted and detained.
Both suspects were handed over to Brooklyn SAPS for further investigation.
