In the early hours of the morning, while conducting routine visible patrols in the Clubview area, Monitor Net Reaction officers observed suspicious activity at a residential property.
Upon further inspection of the premises, officers identified a suspect on the property. When the suspect noticed the reaction officers, he attempted to flee the scene. However, the quick thinking and coordinated actions of the Monitor Net Reaction team enabled them to outmaneuver and apprehend him before he could escape.
During questioning, the suspect admitted that he intended to break into a vehicle on the premises. The suspect was subsequently handed over to Wierdabrug SAPS for further investigation and processing.
This incident highlights the importance of proactive patrols and vigilance in helping prevent crime before it occurs. Well done to the Monitor Net Reaction members for their alertness, professionalism, and swift action in protecting the community.
